We write further to your request which was received on 5 April 2018 and which states:

"Looking to obtain the number of households on the island which receive Free milk under the Free milk scheme and if possible the total volume (pints or litres) supplied during 2017"

Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. As at 1st April 2018, there are 385 households claiming free milk (including liquid and dried milk) under the Welfare Foods (Free Milk) Scheme. In 2017 115,228 pints of liquid milk were supplied.
