Dear ###
We write further to your request received 22 October 2024, which states:
"For each private jet aircraft departing from Ronaldsway during. the 6 month period of April, May June, July, August and September in 2024 please provide from each Flight Plan submitted the final destination of each of, the flights."
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Department of Infrastructure does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
The Department of Infrastructure does not retain flight plans and therefore cannot be provided. Certain data from flight plans is transferred and used for billing and financial purposes. However, due to the data being extracted and held in another system for different function, it would require the Department to create or derive information from the information and undertake substantial compilation of information that we hold which we are not required to do under section 8 of the Freedom of Information Act.
In line with section 15 providing assistance and guidance, certain flight data including destination of flights originating from Isle of Man Airport are publicly available through online sources such as flightradar24.com.
