"Can you please give details on the expenses you faced and staff hours used up for a visit from Princess Anne on Thursday 17th October 2024?

Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

  • police/security costs - No additional Police or security costs as it was run during working hours, there was approximately 165 hours of officer time in total used on the day of the visit. -staff overtime - £4872.96 -cleaning - Nil – There was no specific cleaning done by Police. -emergency planning - Planning came at no cost, but the following in terms of hours. Approximately 115 hours across all Departments, but it didn’t come at a cost as it was during the working day.
    -cctv - Nil – No specific CCTV operated by Police -communications - Nil
    -parking - Nil – We didn’t incur parking costs.

-other costs - £1431.87
