We write further to your request received 15 October 2024, which states:
"1)How much money and assets (worth) have you confiscated from Manx residents or iom residents (what ever you prefer) since forming the above mentioned department?
2)How many people work in this department?
3) who do you answer to ?
4) what happens to the confiscations ?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deal with your request as it appears to have been intended for the Isle of Man Constabulary , where the Economic Crime Unit is located .
For your information the Isle of Man Constabulary are a separate public authority and process their own freedom of information requests. You can submit a freedom of information request to the Isle of Man Constabulary using the same online form via the online services portal.
