We write further to your request, received 9 October 2024, which states:

Please supply if available the most recent fire risk assessments for government office buildings. In particular:

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. In particular, we currently do not hold Fire Risk Assessments (FRA’s) for the Registry Building or Thie Slieu Whallian.
Please see attached copies of the FRA’s for the buildings listed above, which the department currently hold. In addition to this we have attached a copy of the remedial works outlined in the reports and the relevant actions associated to each building. The Department is currently in the process of reprocuring refresher surveys to reflect the current position within each building. It is to be noted that these reports only consider the fabric of the building and the common areas, the occupants within the buildings are responsible for the operational assessment of the area they occupy.
