We write further to your request, received 24 September 2024, which states:
"Since 2011, please outline the names and dates of fishing vessels being removed from the Shipping Registry owing to them having sank. Thank you."
Our response to your request is as follows:
The fishing vessel named ‘Polaris’ sank on 07/02/2020, this has now been removed from the registry.
There have been another two fishing vessels that have been reported as being sunk this year, that have not officially been removed from the registry. They will be removed once we have official confirmation from the owners.
‘June Rose’ on 07/02/2024 and ‘Sarah Lena’ on 15/09/2024.
