I can forward on the UK NHS job descriptions and pay spine information which would apply to this post in NHS UK Trusts if you want them. The pay grade on the attached Senior Technician role is stated as Skills Level 4, down from Skills 5 which is what the multi trade foreman posts are. Some issues which made the grade at Skills 4 could be explained by trying to fit into a multi trade foremen’s criteria. Can I suggest the Pay Band 14 D401 banding is used- similar to a Property Manager? The managerial, investigative and technical duties may more easily fit into here. On a comparison with the Health trusts in the north east and north west of England the pay correlates with Band 6 at £43K Northern Care Alliance NHS, Manchester University Trust and Wolverhampton.   What are your thoughts?   Mark   M Higgins Mark Higgins EBME Supervisor Public Estates and Housing Division | Department of Infrastructure | Isle of Man Government | Nobles Hospital | The Strang | Braddan | IM4 4RJ   Telephone 01624 650593 e-mail: mark.higgins@gov.im   www.gov.im/infrastructure www.twitter.com.iominfra and www.facebook.com/iominfrastructure     redacted
