We write further to your request, received 2 September 2024, which states:
"1. Number of reports of anti social driving in the Battery Pier/ Douglas Head and Marine Drive area since January 2023

I have detailed below the information that is held.
- “anti-social driving” is not recorded as such in any categories of police incidents.
For questions 2-7 it has been interpreted to mean that data is only required for the locations specified in question 1.

There are 736 offences of speeding (where the case is closed) during the period specified, however this is all-island data, and it is not possible to specify the location of offence.

We have not captured data specific to drivers racing.

Arrests for driving offences in the areas specified: 2 people were arrested in the period specified where the place of arrest is detailed as “Marine Drive”, “Douglas Head”, or “Battery Pier”. One individual was in their 40’s and the other was in their 50’s.

364 EFPNs were issued since January 2023 for driving offences (this data only includes closed cases). Data is not recorded in a way that allows us to provide only for the locations requested. It is not possible to provide age ranges.

There were 140 offences of “Drive/Attempt to Drive whilst over the specified drug limit” during the specified period, which can not be broken down by location or age of offender. (This data only includes closed cases).
There are 12 investigations for OSL during the period within the Victoria South beat area which includes Battery Pier, Douglas Head and Marine Drive. Age data has been obtained for “Drive/Attempt to drive/In charge OSL drugs” showing the number of investigations (all-island) and is displayed in the table below in age ranges for 2023 and 2024. It is not possible to specify the location of offence.
