Dear ,

We write further to your request, received 27 August 2024, which states:

"Please confirm whether Anti-Money Laundering training is provided to employees of the Department for Enterprise.

If training is provided what % of employees receive this training and how frequently is this training given."

Our response to your request is as follows:

Anti Money Laundering training is something the Department has not previously determined as being a requirement for all employees of the Department, as most staff members are not in roles where that level of training would be required. However, in certain areas of the Department, where it is appropriate to provide a level of AML training, such as where grant funding and financial information is reviewed, then appropriate training is provided. As such, four members (25%) of the Enterprise Support Team have received a level of training, as has one member of the Aircraft Registry (5%).
