Dear ###

We write further to your request received 25 June 2024, which states:

"It is noted that by 2025 Manx Care aspires to be rated good overall for quality by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Please provide information on when the CQC will next be inspecting Nobles Hospital and the area's it will cover. Please also provide information on when Nobles will receive it's first official CQC rating and when the results of the rating will be made public.

Thank you."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Care is unable to provide the information you have requested. This is in line with section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.

Unfortunately, this is not a question that Manx Care can answer as the commissioning of the CQC to return is entirely a matter for the Department of Health & Social Care. It is anticipated that the CQC will return at some point in 2025.

In order to provide advice and assistance, you may wish to re-direct your request to the Department of Health & Social Care.

Please quote the reference number 3938837 in any future communications.
