Our response to your request is as follows: I enclose a copy of the information that is being released to you.

Please note that the formal payment system maintained by Treasury, provides a ready means of confirming the amounts paid to each Tribunal Chair or Member against the financial code from which each payment is drawn, but does not, for each payment, identify the particular tribunal case(s) involved. As a consequence the breakdowns requested are not readily available from the formal payment system i.e. in terms of overall expenditure against individual cases.

However, the General Registry does currently maintain an informal record of claims made to the Tribunals Service. In a bid to offer advice and assistance in accordance with the Code of Practice we have extracted the information requested from this informal system but must advise that, due to the informal nature of this record, we are not able to offer assurances that errors and omissions have not occurred. It will, nonetheless, provide a reasonable guide to the costs you have requested.
