We write further to your request, received 30 April 2024, which states:

"1). How many children aged 17 years of age and under, have been secured in the Cronk Sollysh, broken down per year, since 2014 to date, for those on remand and those sentenced to custody by the court?

2). How many of the children, broken down per year since 2014 to date, have more than once been held in Cronk Sollysh on remand, or were sentenced to custody by the Court.

3). How many children have been held in Cronk Sollysh at the request of the Isle of Man Constabulary for the purposes of waiting to attend the Isle of Man Court broken down per year since 2014 to date.

4). How many children aged 17 years of age and below were held in Cronk Sollysh, broken down per year since 2014 to date, were those deemed as looked-after children in the care of the Department."

I have detailed below the information that is held:

Whilst our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find all of the information that you have requested. This is in line with section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.

We can however provide the following information:
