Please can you tell me how many shoplifting offences were recorded each year between 2021 until today's date (25/04/24) ?
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
“Please can you tell me how many shoplifting offences were recorded each year between 2021 until today's date (25/04/24).”
The below table provides the number of recorded crimes of theft from shop for each crime year from 2020 (1st April to 31st March). The year 2024-2025 only relates to investigations recorded up to 09/05/2024, so is not a comparable full crime year.
