I require - 1. copies of all hard copy correspondence, e-mails, and messages sent electronically by whatever other means, between 1 October 2021 and the date of this Request, by Department and by officers of the Department to Manx Care and to the Department of health and Social Care ('DHSC') which referred to the roadway to/from the 'Roundhouse' ; and 2. copies of all hard copy correspondence, e-mails, and messages received electronically or by whatever other means, between the 1st October 2021 and the date of this Request by the Department and/or its officers from the DOI and from Manx Care and/or its officers which referred to the roadway to and from the 'Roundhouse' ; and 3. copies of any/all recordings of telephone conversations between the Minister for the Department and the DOI Minister and between the Minister and Board Members of Manx Care during the same period, in which the roadway to/from the 'Roundhouse' was discussed ; and 4.copies of any/all recordings of telephone conversations between the Department's officers and officers of the DHSC and officers of Manx Care during the same period , in which the roadway to/from the 'Roundhouse' was discussed 5.Extracts of the Minutes of all meetings of the Department during the same period at which the roadway to/from the 'Roundhouse' was discussed; and 6.Extracts of Minutes/notes of all meetings of committees of Department during the same period ,at which the roadway to/from the 'Roundhouse 'was discussed.

SP, MHK advised that clarity over access needed to be resolved as soon as possible so that tenants could move in and begin their leases. It is understood that the DHSC have offered a compromise but noted that any petitions for funding would have to come via the Department. There was a query around how this will uplift Braddan rates and noted that the Commissioners were trying to sell their existing building to help with finances. SP, MHK indicated that Braddan Commissioners had given various goodwill access to land (when the new hospital was being built) but that this was now not being reciprocated. | ||
