Your request
You asked for;
1. As to the Prison is all the bread purchased is it bread made on the island, if not from
where.
2. Is the cream used by the prison is it manx made.
3. Are all the potatoes used in the prison grown on the island.
4. Is all the meat manx, and purchased from the meat plant or a local butcher.
5. If not manx meat where is the meat from
Response to your request
The answers to your questions are;
1. The Bread used is not local bread, but bought from a local supplier, as per tender
agreement.
2. This was answered in the last FOI request they sent in. To confirm the cream used is
not Manx, it is long life Cream.
3. We use prison grown potatoes in the first instance; in their absence we buy from
local supplier (sacks do not specify origin), as per tender agreement.
4. Vast majority is Manx sourced from a well-known Manx meat company.
5. Bought from a local supplier as per tender agreement.
