Dear ###
This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2015.
We write further to your request which was received on 15 March 2018 and which states:
"How many former police stations on the island have been sold in the past 5 years? What was the total price each station sold for? How many active police officers are there on the island at current? And how does this compare to previous years numbers?"
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. Enter the reason why the information requested is not held
In respect of elements 1 and 2, 3 properties have been sold as detailed below;
I would note that all properties were non-operational at the time of the sale. In respect of the elements relating to numbers of Police Officers I suspect that the information may be contained in the Chief Constable’s Annual reports for the relevant years.
However the Department of Home Affairs do not hold this information and I suggest that you should re-issue the request to the Isle of Man Constabulary. Please quote the reference number 373633 in any future communications.
