Original Request
In Tynwald minutes, 11th July 2022 (link below) section 145 Mr Glover asked Mrs Cope what is happening with yellow cards because he is receiving increasing correspondence of people not being aware that it exists for reporting injuries. Mrs Cope responded "So perhaps there is a need to just reinforce those messages. I am happy to take that away." Many people are still unaware of this reporting system and that IOM is included, and my concern is that many injuries are not being reported. A basic search for 'yellow card' 'yellowcard' on the gov.im website does not bring it up. On the vaccine page of the website, it includes "Suspected adverse reactions to a vaccine can be Yellow Card." https://www.gov.im/categories/health-and-wellbeing/vaccinations/covid-19-vaccination-programme/information-about-the-vaccines/ 1.Please could all communications be provided to show in what way yellow card awareness was addressed by Mrs Cope from this Tynwald session? https://tynwald.org.im/spfile?file=/business/hansard/20202040/saprcmc220711.pdf#search="%22yellow+card%22"
