Please supply the total number of vehicles that the Department of Infrastructure own and maintain. Please also provide the names of other Government Departments that the Department of Infrastructure, maintain or operate vehicles for and the total number of vehicles that the Department of Infrastructure are responsible for in relation to other Isle of Man Government Departments. By way of the term vehicle it would include any tram, bus, car, van or any other asset classed as a vehicle.

We write further to your request which was received on 26 March 2018 and which states (clarification in blue italics):
"Please supply the total number of vehicles that the Department of Infrastructure own and maintain. Please also provide the names of other Government Departments that the Department of Infrastructure, maintain or operate vehicles for and the total number of vehicles that the Department of Infrastructure are responsible for in relation to other Isle of Man Government Departments. Our response to your request is as follows: There are 1188 road vehicles utilised for work related duties (this excludes engineering tools, trailers, boats etc) held on the Fleetwave fleet management system. These vehicles are used by the DOI (all divisions and sections); DEFA; DHSC; DHA; Enterprise; Treasury; Cabinet Office; Education, Sport & Culture and Manx Utilities.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. Steam railway and MER vehicles are not included in the figures above. This information is already in the public domain.
