Question 01: For the contract year 2016-2017; the number of contracted UDA's for each provider, the number of completed UDA's for each provider and the percentage achievement for each contract. Question 02: For the contract year 2015-2016; the number of contracted UDA's for each provider, the number of completed UDA's for each provider and the percentage achievement for each contract. Question 03: Which providers received special circumstances as a one off agreement against the required financial reimbursement mentioned in FOIA/DHSC/rvsd/01 and the value of reimbursement involved that was set aside in each case. Question 04: In a FOI request dated around the 18/11/17 relating to a number of dental uda issues, the response to question 4 did not include a provider practice under this heading of either Westview Peel and/or Regent Dental Peel in relation to contract UDA achievement 2016-2017.

Our response to your request is as follows: Please find the Department’s response to Questions 01, 02 & 03 …. The tables on the following pages show for each period requested, the Provider & Dental Surgery, the Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) which were contracted to the Provider in the given year and the number of UDAs completed alongside the % of completion. We have also included information, if a Provider had not achieved 100% of the contracted UDAs in the given year, on what agreement was made between the Department and the Provider regarding the reimbursement of any shortfall. The information supplied in this FOI is the most up to date information held by the Department of Health and Social Care and should supersede previous FOIs regarding UDA delivery.

Question 04:“In a FOI request dated around the 18/11/17 relating to a number of dental uda issues, the response to question 4 did not include a provider practice under this heading of either Westview Peel and/or Regent Dental Peel in relation to contract UDA achievement 2016-2017”.

This question was previously asked in a separate FOI query and an amendment to FOI request IM108-739i has already been made. However, to assist the requestor please note that Regent Dental Care (previously Westview, Peel) achieved 82% of their contract in 2016-2017 which is also listed in the above table for 2016-2017 (Q01/Q02).
