We write further to your request, received 17 January 2024, which states:
"Please supply details of the procurement process of any training for Carbon Literacy. The names of any training organisations or individuals, the amount budgeted, and paid to date, to those parties. Please also supply details of the number of members of staff for each department who have attended Carbon literacy training, how many working hours this represents."
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
Q1 - Please supply details of the procurement process of any training for Carbon Literacy.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act,
we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already
reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee.
All of the information that you have requested regarding the procurement process and

Q2. Please supply the names of any training organisations or individuals, the

The name of the training organisation who is supporting the delivery of the training is
Earthscope. The training toolkit and materials were from the Carbon Literacy Project.
The budget for Carbon Literacy training is £26,500 with the amount paid to date, to
the training organisation is £7,556.99.

Department who have attended Carbon literacy training.
