Please advise when DEFA last carried out a procurement exercise in regards procurement of service and supply of fire extinguishers in its premises and vehicles. Please advise if 3 companies were contacted for prices as per treasury regulations. The Department has no record of any procurement process having taken place over the period you mention. The purchaser and maintenance of fire extinguishers in DEFA buildings and vehicles is now managed by the Department of Infrastructure.
