We are looking to find out the annual lease cost of the land adjacent to Nobles hospital leased to Ballafletcher sports council as one of our cricket clubs is subletting to Vagabonds Rugby club at what we feel is an extremely high rate in comparison to all other clubs and want to ascertain if the costs are to cover costs or for commercial gain.

The Department is able to provide you with the following information:
The land adjacent to Nobles Hospital is leased out for an annual rent of £4.00 as part of a sub- lease assigned in 2012. This contributes towards the Department’s policy of promoting or supporting increased participation in sport on the Island.
