In order to provide a response the Department has based its calculations on an average of 15 candidates per advert. The response has calculated the average cost recruitment and advertising; and the cost of administration from the Office of Human Resources: Cost of Recruitment and Advertising1 Cost of OHR Administration2 Total cost to recruit new members of staff to Adult Learning Disabilities Services (Day and Residential) £52.58 £70.00 £122.58 Therefore, the Department response to Question 01, the Department has established a cost of £122.58 to recruit a new member of staff to the Adult Learning Disabilities Service (Day and Residential). A breakdown of these calculations has been provided as Appendix 01.
