Dear

Thank you for your request dated 20th July 2017.

Your request

You asked for: “Could you please tell me (i) how many petitions for redress of grievance have been presented to the court in each of the last five years, (ii) how many of those have been in order and (iii) how many “in order” petitions have been picked up by a Tynwald member and been the subject of a motion put to the court?”

This annual publication lists this year’s petitions for redress along with the previous four years; advises for all five years whether each petition has been found to be in order; and, states for every petition of the previous four years whether it has since been picked up for debate. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
