Response to your request We are pleased to be able to provide a response to your request with answers to some of your questions; and while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide all of the information you have requested. The reasons and statutory exemption sections are shown as part of the corresponding answers below. Please find the Department’s response to Question 01: The table below lists the names of the providers that have been commissioned through the aforementioned Flexible Funding budget for the purpose of providing spot contracted domiciliary care support as of 4th January 2018.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide all the information you have requested in Question 01, relating to the hourly rate, because of an exemption under Section 30 (qualified exempt information having ”economy and commercial interests”) of the Act applies to that information.
Hourly rates for providers range from £17 - £25 per hour for a standard hour of domiciliary care, excluding bank holidays and weekends.
Question 2: How much each private provider has received for the last three months. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide the information you have requested in Question 02, relating to the financial amounts received by each provider in the last three months, because of an exemption under Section 30 (qualified exempt information having ”economy and commercial interests”) of the Act applies to that information.
