your questions; while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance
we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested. The reasons and

Question 01: Kindly advise how many cannabis licenses have been issued; a) to

In response to Question 01, there have been no licenses requested or issued for
companies; and no licences requested or issued for individuals.

bodied cancer patients who are having pain managed within Hospice Isle of Man
In response to Question 02, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible,
in this instance the Department of Health and Social Care (“the Department”) does not
hold the information that you have requested (section S11(3)(a) of the Act). This is
because Hospice Isle of Man is not part of the Department and is instead a registered
charity (“Hospice Care” registration number 317) and a registered data controller
(“Hospice Care” notification number N000351).

It is worth noting however, that as Hospice Isle of Man is not a public authority it is
therefore not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2015; consequently any requests

Question 03: Is there an end of life policy in place in Hospice Isle of Man or Noble’s
Hospital that is not referred to as euthanasia but pain management and are the patients
made fully aware of the practice please?
