Response to your request We are pleased to be able to provide a response to your request with answers to your questions: Question 01: Can you advise as to the Company that Mrs Beecroft has registered in members interest in as to if the service was subject to competitive tender procedure. In response to Question 01, the Department can confirm that Manx Home Care t/a Manx Cleaners were the successful tenderer for cleaning services in 2013.

Page 2 of 2 FOIA/DHSC/rvsd/01 Question 02: Was an FD waiver sought as the tender accepted was more than 100k? In response to Question 02, the Department can confirm than an FD8 waiver is only required in instances where the procurement process only receives interest/submission from one organisation, effectively meaning there isn’t a competition. This did not apply to the cleaning tender. Therefore there was no FD8 waiver required. Question 03: What date the tender was received? In response to Question 03, the Department can confirm that the tender was received 25 July 2012 Question 04: What is the length of the Contract? In response to Question 04 the Department can confirm that the maximum permissible contract length is five years.
