While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to
provide some of the information you have requested at this time; the reasons are shown as
part of the corresponding answers below. However, we are pleased to be able to provide a
response to your four of the above questions within this letter.

Question 01: the number being treated by services provided by the Community Child and
Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team for children and young people at the
present date
In response to Question 01, as of 28th February 2017 the CAMHS current caseload is
683.
Question 02: provide a figure for the number of people on waiting lists to receive treatment
for mental illness within each Mental Health service including CAMHS each month from
January 2013 until the present date;
In response to Question 02, the following teams within the Mental Health Service have
not held waiting lists since January 2013: Older Persons Mental Health Service, Drug &
Alcohol Team, Acute In-patient Services.
The Community Mental Health Team for Adults does maintain a waiting lists however
they do not hold the information on a month by month basis. Therefore we only have
information on the current number of people on their waiting lists. There are 145
people awaiting allocation to Psychology Services and 14 people awaiting allocation to
a Community Mental Health Professional.
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service does maintain a waiting list since January
2013 and have provided the following breakdown as requested.

Team and not by type of therapy. Please note that all teams are multi-disciplinary.

Question 05: provide copies of the Mental Health senior management team minutes from
January 2015 until the present date.
We are considering whether any absolute or qualified exemptions apply to the
information you have requested in Question 05, which may prevent us from providing
some or all of the information to you. To enable us to do this the law says that we are
allowed an extended period, beyond 20 days to respond. We have determined the
period of time reasonable in the circumstances by considering:
the time required to consult with a person who may be affected by the
disclosure of information; or
the time taken to consult with a person about whether access to the information
would be in the public interest; or
whether responding to your request for information will substantially or
unreasonably interfere with the day-to-day operations of the Department.
Therefore we aim to provide a response to Question 05 of your request within an
