Your Request:-
1) Does the Department of Education and Children and/or Treasury receive any funds from any church or church related body in return for providing a Church of England or a faith school on the Isle of Man.
2) If the Department of Education and Children and/or Treasury receive funds from a church or from a church related body in return for providing a Church of England or a faith school on the Isle of Man, how much have they received since 2012 to date? How are amounts due calculated?
3) Has the Department of Education and Children and/or Treasury entered into talks about the possibility of receiving funds in the future from any church or church related body in return for providing a Church of England or a faith school on the Isle of Man.
4) If the Department of Education and Children and/or Treasury has had meetings about receiving any funds in the future from any church or church related body in return for providing a Church of England or a faith school on the Isle of Man, please provide all documentation from those meetings, ie agendas, emails, minutes, contracts, etc.
Department Response:-
In response to question one, both faith schools have received assistance from their churches over the past 5 years.
St Mary’s School have received a number of ad-hoc resources and publications (this has not been quantified by the school)
St Thomas’s School has received £1,357 for ad-hoc resources

In response to question three, the Department of Education and Children is not aware of any
talks about the possibility of receiving funds in the future.
In response to question four, this is not applicable as per answer to question 3.
