Your Request:-

Has any study been made by the DEC on homeschooling on the IOM? If so please can I see the reports/findings. If these are subject to any kind of restrictions then can I have any information on any causes of concern that were raised?

Department Response:-

In response to your Freedom of Information request, I can advise that no such study has been carried out by the Department of Education and Children and therefore under Section 11(3)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act we are refusing your request on the grounds that a practical refusal reason exists, namely that the Department does not hold the information that you have requested.

This information will also be published on the Government website in due course should you wish to revisit the information.
