“‘Kindly advise about the incorporation of government departments into businesses are they for profit or are they non profit businesses”.

We wrote to you on the 1 August 2017 requesting clarification of the information sought. After some correspondence, which was to enable the Cabinet Office to adequately identify the information required, you responded on 10 August 2017 stating: “I have found a company please find attached called Isle of Man Limited, it has IOM civil servants as shareholders, it is a private company. Is it possible to have a copy of the articles & memorandum of association please including its powers & duties and whether the directors get paid or receive benefits for running the company on top of their salary paid for by the Manx tax-paying constituents?” Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
