Your Request:
Please supply an itemised anonymised list of each police officer pension right solely by
chronological qualifying date (first employment date) and with last employment date if relevant
but without any other information such as name or contributions by value or volume in order to
calculate a summarised totals
(a) Active police officers with pension rights that predate 1st September 1995 and
(b) Inactive police officers with pension rights that predate 1st September 1995.
Response to your request:
I can confirm that the PSPA is able to collate from its records the information you require to
provide you with a response within the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2015.
However the provision of dates as requested may well serve to identify individual members and
so, under Section 25 of the Freedom of Information Act 2015, the PSPA is unable to provide the
specific dates. I am sorry that this has not been possible.
Based on the information held by the PSPA up to the date of this letter the information you
require is detailed in the table below, the data is extracted from the data held in the pension’s
admin data base.
Inactive member:
A member who has left the Scheme and not claimed a pension but has deferred or preserved
benefits or has left the scheme and claimed their pension benefits.
