On 21 September 2022, the Isle of Man Government published the following claim: "Chris Thomas, Minister for Infrastructure, is talking us through Housing in the Royal Hall. In terms of new development - 600 new homes are to be built - this is double what has been developed in previous years and will include affordable housing #IOMGC #GOV22" Source: https://twitter.com/IOMGovernment/status/1572576910521282567 I request a copy of records showing the number of homes built per calendar year for each of the calendar years from 2015 to 2022 (inclusive, recognising that the current year is incomplete) and for any previous years for which the Department has records. By "records" I mean as defined in the Freedom of Information Act. By "for any previous years for which the Department has records" I mean in accordance with the time periods covered by the Freedom of Information Act, AND ALSO any years prior to the implementation of the Act which the Department may still have records of. By all other word I mean their common English language understanding of the words.

Our response to your request is as follows: Please find attached Appendix 1, detailing the number of homes built per calendar year. The Department does not yet hold any records showing the number of homes built for 2022.
