I write further to your request which was received on 22 August 2022 and which, subsequent to our recent exchange and to the clarification you have provided, states:

Please provide the total amount that treasury has paid to advocates under both the green form scheme and civil legal aid scheme over the last 2 years. The total amount Treasury has paid to advocates under both the green form scheme and the civil legal aid scheme during the last 2 complete financial years is as follows – Financial year Total amount paid (£) 2020/2021 937,336 2021/2022 913,742 Please note that a financial year begins on 1 April and ends on 31 March the following year. Please quote the reference number 2594293 in any future communications.
