While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold the information that you have requested. For advice and assistance, Cabinet Office can provide further context to inform this response. Much work has been undertaken in Government in support of the aims and objectives of the Equality Act 2017. Implementation of the Act was a specific action in the Programme for Government (of the previous administration) with a target date of January 2020. The Equality project has been rolled out and completed. An Isle of Man Equality Champion was appointed to support implementation of the Act, and three annual reports can be read here: https://www.tynwald.org.im//business/opqp/sittings/20182021/2018-GD-0076.pdf https://www.tynwald.org.im//business/opqp/sittings/20182021/2019-GD-0096.pdf https://www.tynwald.org.im/business/opqp/sittings/20182021/2021-GD-0064.pdf The Act makes provision for the Tynwald Advisory Council for Disabilities to be replaced by the Tynwald Equality Consultative Committee (TECC) as a format for consultation. The commencement of TECC was paused in 2018 in light of a forthcoming review of Government committees and quangos, and as a number of other support mechanisms and initiatives were put in place to safeguard the rights of citizens with protected characteristics described in the Act.
