We write further to your request which was received on 7 July 2022 and which states:
"Please can you provide details of class sizes for the current year 5 group (for academic year 2021/2022) and expected class sizes for the year 6 group (for academic year 2022/2023) at Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey and Rushen Primary School? In cases where year groups are combined in a single classroom, please show the breakdown by year group. "
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey Primary School Current Class Size Year 5 Group = 29 Expected Class Sizes academic year 2022/23 Year 6 Group = 30 In the school year 2022/23 there will be two Year 5/6 classes of 25/26 pupils. In one class there will be 11 Year 5 pupils and 15 Year 6 pupils. In the other class there will be 10 Year 5 pupils and 15 Year 6 pupils. Rushen Primary School Current Class Size Current Year 5 Group = 41 Expected Class Sizes academic year 2022/23 Year 6 Group = 40 In the school year 2022/23 there will be three Year 5/6 classes of 28 pupils. In one class there will be 15 Year 5 pupils and 13 Year 6 pupils. In the second class there will be 15 Year 5 pupils and 13 Year 6 pupils. In the third class there will be 14 Year 5 pupils and 14 Year 6 pupils.
