We write further to your request which was received on 21 June 2022 and which states:

"Please can you provide the all cause mortality split month by month from 2016 to the present day."

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Cabinet Office does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. The data provided is from January 2016 to December 2021. This is because the source that this data is pulled from is compiled from ONS coded death registrations. Data from 2022 has not yet been sent for coding and so is not contained within this data source.

I have detailed below the information that is held.
