We write further to your request which was received on 14 June 2022 and which states:

"What digital systems are used by the civil litigation team to specifically support case management, for example, just lists and documents and macros in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with emails via Microsoft Outlook and labour/disbursements in Microsoft Dynamics or more specialist software or cloud system such as the Egress email management system, a timesheet system, a billable hours management system, legal support systems such as the UK Police National Legislation Database or Nexis Lexis etc, an ediscovery system, an evidence timeline system, etc."

Our response to your request is as follows: The civil litigation division within the Attorney General’s Chambers utilise the following software applications to manage their matters: • Prescient+ - case/practice/document management system • Egress – email encryption system • Microsoft Office Suite • Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw – online electronic library systems • ‘BigHand’ – digital dictation software The division also has limited access to a small number of secure systems operated by Manx Care; beyond-public access to the Companies Registry facilities; and use other publicly available resources as appropriate, eg www.legislation.gov.im – Isle of Man Government online legislation.
