Can the doi advise why the company Menzies aviation is not registered at Isle of Man companies registries and is it a legal requirement for the doi to ensure uk companies are registered on the island while operating here .

We write further to your request which was received on 11 May 2022 and which states:

"Dear Sirs Menzies aviation operate the airport at ronaldsway on the Isle of Man . Can the doi advise why the company Menzies aviation is not registered at Isle of Man companies registries and is it a legal requirement for the doi to ensure uk companies are registered on the island while operating here ."

Our response to your request is as follows: Companies Registry maintains the register and records of all companies and other business types incorporated in the Isle of Man, and provides a facility for the public to view documents which have been filed. As such, please submit a new Freedom of Information request to the Department for Enterprise as they may be better suited to answer your query.
