Please provide me with any information that relates to the use of Cringle Great Park and in particular, using any of the area as part of a mountain bike trail. Please provide me with any applications, minutes of meetings, correspondence and or copies of any contracts to use the land since January 2012. To clarify, the Cringle Great Park the area of land located above Eairy Staine Plantation.

We write further to your request which was received on 29th March 2022 and which states:

"Please provide me with any information that relates to the use of Cringle Great Park and in particular, using any of the area as part of a mountain bike trail. Please provide me with any applications, minutes of meetings, correspondence and or copies of any contracts to use the land since January 2012. To clarify, the Cringle Great Park the area of land located above Eairy Staine Plantation." You further clarified your request on the 19th April with a highlighted image of the location and stated: “So I would like to any information regarding planning or change of use of this land I have attached a picture with the highlighted area that I’m asking about?” Our response to your request is as follows: The Department can confirm that some consideration has been given to make the track running from the Sloc Road into the north access of Earystane Plantation a permissive mountain bike route, (site clarified by your submission of a plan) that there are no outstanding applications, minutes of meetings or correspondence or contracts to use the land. Consequently, no further information is held.

With regard to any planning applications, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee.
