We write further to your request which was received on 29 March 2022 and which states:

1. How much has IOMPO paid out for new vehicles in the past 5 years?
2. Can you give a break down over the years?
3. How much does IOMPO pay for fuel on all of these vehicles annually?
4. Again, can you give a break down over the years?
5. How much is spent on insurance and tax for all of these vehicles?
6. Can you give a break down of costs?
7. How many vehicles have been involved in accidents over the last 5 years?
8. How many vehicles have had to be written off in the last 5 years due to driver error?
9. How much has been spent on servicing and fixing vehicles in the last 5 years?
10. How many staff have points on their licence?
11. How many staff have been taken of driving duties due to ill health in the past 5 years?

Our response to your request is as follows:

1. How much has IOMPO paid out for new vehicles in the past 5 years? As of 8th April 2022, IOMPO have paid £746,265.50
2. Can you give a break down over the years? 2017/18 – £121,549.60 2018/19 – £140,824.85 2019/20 – £209,927.81 2020/21 – £259,870.55 2021/22 – £14,092.69
3. How much does IOMPO pay for fuel on all of these vehicles annually? Please refer to the response to point 4 below.

4. Again, can you give a break down over the years? 2017/18 – £148,474.90 2018/19 – £158,593.99 2019/20 – £153,966.16 2020/21 – £124,130.14 2021/22 - £130,710.98

5. How much is spent on insurance and tax for all of these vehicles? Over the past 5 years, IOMPO have spent £326,274.48 on insurance and vehicle tax/registration for its fleet of vehicles

6. Can you give a break down of costs? Insurance – £226,429.58 Vehicle Tax and Registration – £99,844.90
7. How many vehicles have been involved in accidents over the last 5 years? 68 collisions reported to the fleet manager
8. How many vehicles have had to be written off in the last 5 years due to driver error? Four
9. How much has been spent on servicing and fixing vehicles in the last 5 years? While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the information is absolutely exempt under section 26 of the Act, as disclosure would constitute an actionable breach of confidence.
10. How many staff have points on their licence? Seven staff have notified IOMPO of such endorsements.
11. How many staff have been taken off driving duties due to ill health in the past 5 years?
    No permanent reassignments.
