We write further to your request which was received on 24th March 2022 which states:

"1. How much money has been spent on L.F.T.s? 2. What are the limits on people requesting test kits? Will there be a retrospective charge if people stockpile the free tests?"

Our Response 1. How much money has been spent on L.F.T.s? The cost of LFTs, including distribution is £6,068,579 (ex VAT) for the period 01.10.21 to 31.03.22 2. What are the limits on people requesting test kits? Will there be a retrospective charge if people stockpile the free tests? While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Manx Care is unable to provide the information that you have requested. This is in line with Section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested.
However we can advise that there are no formal limits. Lateral flow tests are available to order online and also available to collect from pharmacies without the need for validation with personal identification or proof of address.
