We write further to your request which was received on 23 March 2022 and which states:
"Please could I get figures for the number of staff who have resigned so far from each secondary school on the Island, leaving at Easter and Summer of 2022."
Our response to your request is as follows: I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. The information below is recorded as of 25 March 2022 and includes all staff i.e. Teachers, Education Support Staff, Cleaners, Caretakers & Administrators etc. Ballakermeen High School 14 in total 2 at Easter 11 at Summer 1 in May Castle Rushen High School 2 in total 1 at Easter 1 at Summer Queen Elizabeth II High School 6 in total 2 at Easter 4 at Summer Ramsey Grammar School 7 in total 4 at Easter 3 at Summer
St Ninian’s High School 9 in total 2 at Easter 4 at Summer 3 in between Easter and Summer Please note some of the leavers are not leaving the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, they have successfully applied and obtained other positions within other Isle of Man schools.
