Our response to your request is as follows:
In accordance with the criteria laid out under the above Act all of the information you have requested can be provided. Each question you have asked is answered sequentially as follows:-
'What qualifications are Domestic Energy Assessors required to possess to enable them to carry out Manx Home Energy Audits?'
Each Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) is required to hold the Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment qualification.
'Are the Assessors employed or self-employed? '
DEA's can be either self-employed or employed.
How much do Smart Energy Solutions get paid for each audit carried out by the Assessors?
All Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA's) who successfully apply and join the Select List framework agreement for the supply of DEA services to the Green Living Grant Scheme (GLGS) are paid the same rate for initial and follow-up audits.
