Our response to your request is as follows: It must be noted that the Department does not keep records of actual quantities of leachate loads emptied from the Raggatt landfill site; therefore, the answers provided are based on best estimates using external contractor time sheets and permanent staff working patterns. 1. Annual estimate: 415 loads. Please note that this is an average of: - Estimated contractor and Department of Infrastructure staff – 11 loads per week between January and June 2021 and; - Estimated Department of Infrastructure staff only – 5 loads per week between July and December 2021. - 2. The same 12,000 litre tank was used. 3. Total volume emptied during 2021 is estimated to be 4,980,000 litres or 4,980 tonnes. 4. Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA) Sawmill, St John’s, or AWPP Richmond Hill, Braddan.
