Estimated additional parking utilized and not penalized by parking enforcement officers (for example Offroad Alley)" Our response to your request is as follows: Part 1 The Department does not hold the information requested in the format requested. Parking permits are recorded by zone rather than individual streets. However some of the information requested can be provided: 1. There is one temporary permit issued in Allan Street expiring in Feb 2022 and one temporary permit issued in Tynwald Street expiring in Feb 2022. 3. The number of temporary parking permits issued in 2021 can be found in the attached Appendix 1. There have been two temporary permits issued in 2022. 5. The number of temporary parking permits expired in 2021 can be found in the attached Appendix 1. The database used to record the parking permit information does not allow the Department to extract the information to answer questions 2,4,6,7,8,9 and 10. Part 2 Parking capacity is dependent on the length of useable kerbside parking along the streets specified, as well as the type of vehicles parking on the street. An average parking space of 5.5m – 6m in length is used to allow for parking manoeuvres. The maximum parking capacity for the streets specified can be calculated by dividing the useable kerbside parking length by 5.5m or 6m per space. The Department can issue reserved parking spaces when an applicant meets the criteria for requiring one. These reserved parking spaces can be for blue badge holders or emergency services workers. The Department does not issue commercial permits. The number of reserved parking spaces placed on the specified streets is as below: Merton Bank - 1 Allan Street - 2 Peveril Street - 0 Clarke Street - 0 Tynwald Street - 1 Orry Street - 0 Peveril Terrace - 0 Parr Street - 0 Please quote the reference number 2215649 in any future communications.
