We write further to your request which was received on 24 January 2022 and which states:
"Pls supply deaths caused solely by covid19, where covid is the only cause of death listed on the death certificate, broken down by age group and gender between feb 2020 up to and including dec 2021?" While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Manx Care is unable to provide the information that you have requested. This is in line with Section 11(3)a of the Act, as a practical refusal reason applies; namely we do not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find the information that you have requested. In order to provide advice and assistance you may wish to contact the General Registry who holds death certificate information.
