Dear ###

We write further to your request which was received on 10 January 2022 and which states:

"For each Government Department, Statutory Board and other Public Authority I would like to know: Total Number of permanent Employees Total Number of contract Employees Total Number of temporary Employees In regard to Contract Employees, how many have had more than one contract with a Government Department, Statutory Board or other public authority. The data should be provided in an excel spreadsheet with an overall summary for each of the three areas - Government, Statutory Boards and other Public Authorities." I have enclosed copies of the information that is held. Please see attached spreadsheet provided which details the number of employees in each Department Board or Office and whether their employment is held on an indefinite or limited term basis. All employees hold a contract of employment. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Cabinet Office does not hold some of the information that you have requested. The Office of Human Resources does not hold data on individuals engaged under a contract for services, e.g. a temporary agency worker. It is unlikely that this information is held by Departments, Boards and Offices as the individual workers details and where they had worked would be held by the agency or body to whom they are contracted. The Office of Human Resources does not hold data on the number of employees in Manx Utilities or the Isle of Man Post Office. However, you may wish to contact Manx Utilities or the Isle of Man Post Office for further information: https://www.manxutilities.im/about-us/our-customers/freedom-of-information/ https://www.iompost.com/about/freedom-of- information/#:~:text=Freedom%20of%20Information%20(FOI)%20legislation,on%20
