"Records of the model, manufacturer, supplier and retailer (as appropriate) of the array of 40 solar panels to be installed at Carnane telecoms mast, which will power the DHA's use of the mast to host TETRA radio coverage for the emergency services."
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the public authority does not hold or cannot, after taking reasonable steps to do so, find some of the information that you have requested. In order to provide advice and assistance the Department undertook a procurement process last year approaching three local renewable energy installation contractors to: • Survey the Carnane site and specify and design a suitable solar array; • Provide a quotation to supply and install array with all MUA grid connections and provide expected pay back information; and • Provide details of expected system life and maintenance requirements Two quotes were received but the procurement process has not been completed and no order has yet been committed for the Solar Panels at Carnane, as planning permission has not been granted. The Department’s planning application can be found at: https://services.gov.im/planningapplication/services/planning/search.iom Reference: 21/01311/B. Product information for the proposed array mounting systems, submitted to planning, held by the Department is set out in the attached document. The Department does not hold information on the exact model, manufacturer, supplier and retailer of the solar panels as this will be confirmed once planning has been determined and the procurement process can be completed.
