While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, under section 20 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you, whether free of charge or on payment of a fee. Some of the information that you have requested is available online. Community deaths 2017-2021, the mortality reports published to date are available online at: https://www.gov.im/about-the-government/departments/cabinet-office/public- health/health-intelligence/mortality-reporting/. This covers the period to 2019. The next set of mortality reports are due for publication in March 2022. Complying with the request for information for monthly figures would require the Cabinet Office to do one or more of the matters mentioned in section 8(3) (things a public authority is not required to do by the Act). The mortality reports are only analysed and produced in the year banding shown, they are not analysed or reported by month for the purpose of mortality reporting. To do so would require us to create or derive or undertake substantial compilation or collation of information which is contrary to section 8(3) of the Freedom of Information Act. The Covid-19 weekly surveillance report does not include figures for 'all reason' community deaths.
